The 2025 syrup season was quite eventful and unique. Just before the season began, we experienced the worst ice storm our farm has seen in over 40 years. A handful of trees were total losses, and many lost smaller branches. With hesitancy, we decided to tap anyway. The trees ended up producing well, as the weather (although wet) was favorable for sap flow. We finished the season with 250 gallons of syrup this year, which is the most we've ever made in a single season. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at farmers' markets throughout the summer and we would like to thank all of our loyal customers. Many of you keep in contact with us even after farmers' markets are over, and we appreciate your business.
